The Oakdale Business and Professional Association is a vital community organization. We are active in promoting community events and providing a unified voice for our member businesses. Teaming with city leaders, OBPA is deeply committed to creating a community where businesses can thrive. For over twenty-five years OBPA has been the business and professional organization of choice in our area. We invite anyone interested in learning more about us to be our guest at our monthly membership meetings, and will help to show you the true value of becoming a member of the Oakdale Business and Professional Association.
Oakdale’s largest summer celebration features the Grande Parade, Skateboard exhibition and contest, carnival rides, live entertainment, great food, bingo, and softball and baseball tournaments. There are events for every member of the family. Come out to enjoy the parade, go on the rides, eat the food and meet your neighbors. The Oakdale Business and Professional Association sponsors the official Oakdale Summerfest Medallion Hunt. Participants follow fun historical clues to find the medallion and win the grand prize. Most of the events are held at the Richard Walton Memorial Park adjacent to the Oakdale City Hall.
